Ouch. This is precious little consolation, but I've been in that position a number of times so I know exactly what it feels like. You have my utmost sympathies.

loss will come no matter what. It is fine to mourn loss and natural to be sad. I think you should post a memorial to her on the site.

I am sorry to hear of your loss... My condolences.
I have recently lost my father who I have always thought of as my hero so I know what your going thru.
